Sausagemeat stuffing?

I make this often to have with roast potatoes & veg. I make up 1 pack (170g) of stuffing with the amount of water recommended on the pack and leave to cool. then mix it with the sausagemeat with my hands. I then put the mix into a loaf tin and bake gas 5 - 6 for about 30 to 40 minutes. Delicious and cheaper than a joint of meat.
I will try this way thank you.
And thanks to all posters
To be honest, it has never entered my mind to make my own stuffing! I just remember eating a sausagemeat and stuffing (packet) combination when I was a child, which I loved. It was made by my nan who is no longer with us and I'm hoping to recreate it formy own familyMummy to ds 29/12/06 dd 10/2/08 ds 25/5/11:Amy angel born too soon 18/11/12, always with me Emmie Faith:A15 projects in 2015 10/15completed0 -

I made some stuffing the other week to use up some bits and pieces. I chopped and fried off some bacon, and an onion and then mixed it with cold sausage meat and a small packet of stuffing mix, I didnt add water but did add a beaten egg.
I then packed it into a cake tin liner inside a baking tin and baked.
When it was cooked, i cut it into cubes/strips/pieces and froze it in portions.
Husband loves it and it stretches roast chicken, pork etc.
I will be making it again for Christmas but will add some chestnuts and dried cranberries to make it a bit festive.0 -

And an egg!0
