Currently living up North. Dont mind travelling do a different city for a treatement.

I am looking to get invisalign to straighten my teeth.

Does anyone know any dentists that are doing any special offers atm as its very expensive?

Invisalign's only advantage is that it's hard to see.

It will occasionally ' do the job' but it will never be the 'best' way to move your teeth straight. Because of its name though, you pay the premium.

You would be much better off getting your own dentist to refer you to a local specialist orthodontist, who will have knowledge of many treatment systems and will advise which one would work best for you. Including invisalign if that's what you really want.

The more visible 'train tracks' will always do the job better, in less time, with a more stable result and cheaper.

Invisalign dentists tend only to be trained in that one system.

Nowadays, there are a lot more adults with braces, so you really won't be that much of a freak :)
    How to find a dentist.
    1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
    2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
    3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
    4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.

I would point out the lab bills for invisalign start at circa £2000 and rise to £4000. Or more so its unlikely anyone could do it on special offer as the costs of providing are huge.

    +1

This is also what my regular dentist told me after i had my Invisilign consultation but he wasn't happy with the proposed result so he suggested i go for conventional braces as Invisalign is only really designed for minor tooth movement...serious movement requires 'normal' braces.

Actually the clear train-track braces look quite cool :rotfl:
