Travelling to Harry Potter tour

Hi, I've booked tickets for myself and my girlfriend to see the Harry Potter studio tour in Watford:

I'm not from London so would like a bit of advice please on what the best and cheapest way to get there is.
I've heard a few things, the oyster card doesn't stretch to Watford and also there's a bus from Watford station to the tour(?).
Can somebody please advise?
Thanks

There are a number of suggestions on that website that you have already found.
For details of the bus from Watford Junction, see here:
Oyster is valid to Watford Junction. See here:
You haven't said where you are travelling from, so it is a bit difficult to suggest the best or cheapest way to travel.
Btw, you may find that the cheapest way is not the best way... and vice versa.

Yes there is a regular shuttle bus from Watford Junction station directly to the studios. I think it costs about £2. You can't miss it as its covered in a Harry Potter design.
Where abouts are you coming from as you may not need to go into London?0 -
Just to add:
If you are travelling from central London, your best/cheapest question was asked, and answered, earlier this year:
Remember, train fares are going up at the beginning of January.0 -
Watford is within the Oyster card zone.. Quickest way from central London is the quick train from Euston.. Only takes 20 minutes0
