Travelling to Harry Potter tour

Hi, I've booked tickets for myself and my girlfriend to see the Harry Potter studio tour in Watford:

I'm not from London so would like a bit of advice please on what the best and cheapest way to get there is.


I've heard a few things, the oyster card doesn't stretch to Watford and also there's a bus from Watford station to the tour(?).


Can somebody please advise?

You haven't said where you are travelling from, so it is a bit difficult to suggest the best or cheapest way to travel.

Btw, you may find that the cheapest way is not the best way... and vice versa.

Yes there is a regular shuttle bus from Watford Junction station directly to the studios. I think it costs about £2. You can't miss it as its covered in a Harry Potter design.

Where abouts are you coming from as you may not need to go into London?

Watford is within the Oyster card zone.. Quickest way from central London is the quick train from Euston.. Only takes 20 minutes
