New Career Ideas and Training Suggestions

Hey Guys,
Hopefully my post will be beneficial for not just me but all.
I am currently unemployed (just on casual 0 hour contract work) and looking for some career suggestions and ideas. I have a few plans for 2014, I will apply to be a Paramedic, if accepted my course starts in September 2014. I am also looking to setup my own Letting Agency, I have the savings to get going.
So does anyone have any ideas apart from the above I could consider? Ideally something I could study from home for, with 6 months training to a year, the Paramedic course is an exception at 2 years and is something I would really enjoy.
Kind regards

If you're planning to do a Foundation Degree starting in 2014, you should already have applied for it. Do you have the required entry qualifications and any relevant experience?0

Hey, yes I have applied for the last 2 years for Paramedic Science, I have the appropriate qualifications and experience, just fell short on the interview on both occasions, so will just try again. But really searching for backup ideas that's all. Thanks0

What is it about the paramedic role that attracts you?0

Carer, nurse, ambulance driver?
Did you get feedback from the interview? This should help you with what to do differently next time.0 -

Yeah maybe a driver, similar kind of role advertised at the moment i may try for. I got plenty of feedback, I feel I acted on it, there was about 250 candidates for 13 positions, so perhaps it was too close to call, but I have a better idea next time....
Still wondering if that doest work out what other options there are, apart from healthcare0
