Slogan Competitions: Are There Many Online?

Hi all,


I thought I'd pop on over to this board to see what's happening. And I probably won't get into any trouble for anything I'm likely to say on here. Which would be nice.

Are there many slogan type competitions online? I though I might resurrect my old hobby of entering consumer competitions and was wondering if it's still a worthwhile or profitable pursuit?

I prefer comps where there are a lot of runner-up prizes, due to my inability to be a top-notch comper. As long as I can turn some words into a Limerick I can usually come up with something halfway decent, but really clever entries are a bit beyond my abilities.

I tend to avoid prize draws but wouldn't object to entering one or two here and there.

Is there anything 'hot' right now in the world of consumer comps?

There are some, but not that many. As far as I know, they are not listed separately anywhere, but if you searched using words such as effort, or slogan or caption, you might find some.

Thanks. I did do some Advent comps yesterday - can't not, really, can you?

Did a search and found two threads - one locked and from 2009, and this one!


Looks like I may have to look further afield.
