One year ago Michael Schumacher began his world championship charge with a dominant victory in the US Grand Prix.
After trailing Alonso by as much as 25 points, he managed to pull level with the Spaniard with just two races to go only for technical problems to restrict him to second place in the final standings.
It was still a great effort though, and Michael’s 2006 Ferrari 248 will remain famous as his last ever Formula 1 car.
