Do expired warnings have to be declared?

Had an interview last week for a job, it was going quite well, until i was asked about if i had any discplinary action, i did have a written warning for sickness but that expired at the end of November.
However the Question was not have you had any discplinary action in the last 12 months, it was have you had any discplinary action? i said no, thinking expired warnings are not relevant.
Did the wrong thing? Or am i over thinking?

If the warning is not on your record as in it has expired then I say no you do not have to mention it.We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
