Recently I've started doing blog competitions and rafflecopter comps after ignoring them for several month owing to the fact they look different/scary as they're not set out in the typical competition format.

I'm just looking for advice on how people check for wins on these competitions. As they're usually on private blogs some people are better at updating winners on their pages than others so is it best to just google your name with the hope of it popping up or is there an easier and more reliable option for seeing if you've won?

I've always had an email when I've won an RC, most tell you who has won, but you have to go back to the blog page to find out.

I guess they might notify through Twitter or FB as they tend to always ask for you handles.

Normally email or mention the winner on Twitter. However some announce the winner on their blog. Therefore it's always best to check back. I normally bookmark the blogs I enter to check back who has won.
