The Mrs has hinted at some Ugg style boots for xmas. But not Uggs themselves, she wants 'in the style of' because they're cheaper (we're doing the saving for a house thing and agreed to reduce what we spend on each other at xmas)
Being a bloke, Im not so hot on these things and Im here to ask for popular brands which can be my starting point.
All help gratefully received

Do you know if she intends wearing them inside the house as slippers, or outside the house as boots? That will alter the quality required.
According to wiki - I knew I'd read it somewhere - down under, Uggs are predominantly slippers. It's over here that we have them as outdoor boots despite that they aren't apparently designed for that purpose. I have two pairs, neither of which leave the house - one genuine Uggs, which I find uncomfortable; and one pair of M&S copies, which are fantastic:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

I had some bear paw make ones that are good and rocket dog brand I have too. The thing to watch with cheap ugg style boots is they have no ankle support and look awful. The ones I mentioned about are around the £50 price mark. How much are you looking to spend?Have a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T0

I bought some New Look ones once which I thought were really good (although I've never actually worn Uggs!) and were only about £15-20. No idea if they have them this year though. Wouldn't bother with Primark ones.0

Hi there,
Before I got my uggs I had these Rocket Dogs and really liked them:
