Just been into mr T's, was looking at the 700ml bottle they have at £15 thinking that was a good deal better than the £13 marked price for the 500ml, decided to quickly check mysupermarket, and it's actually £10 now until the 9th (monday) so must be one of their little weekend discounts! store hadnt changed the sel so checked on a scanner before paying to make sure.
Best price you'll get for the proper stuff methinks!

Car Boot Queen!!
Clothes Golden Rule: Never pay full price unless it is an utter bargain in the first place!
Sales, boots, charity shops, ebay- why would anyone ever pay full price for anything??!

Thanks. I love Amaretto. I love it on cake, and on fruit, and I especially love it as part of an affogato
An affogato (Italian, "drowned") is a coffee-based beverage. It usually takes the form of a scoop of vanilla gelato or ice cream topped with a shot of hot espresso. Some variations also include a shot of Amaretto or other liqueur.0 -

Can someone let me know what it tastes like? Can you drink it on its own or do you add coke/lemonade to it?"Women are made to be loved, not understood - Oscar Wilde .
A big thank you to all the fab people that take the time to post bargains :beer:0 -

It's an almond liquor, it's quite sweet and is nice on ice, with coke or in a variety of cocktails.
As it's so sweet it's typically a girls drink but I know plenty of guys who will drink it at home - they just would ask for it in a pub!0 -
If you like marzipan, it is lovely poured into hot milk. It tastes like hot marzipan.
Also stirred into single cream and poured on desserts.A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.
Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.

I am a big Amaretto fan - it's my 5 o clock tipple on a Fri, Sat & Sun night. I drink it with Diet coke! Have tried the Aldi one, and although it is good, it doesn't compare to Disaronno! The Aldi one is a watered down version and I would rather pay more for the Disaronno - might have to stock up in Mr T tomorrow!it would be typical if it was not on in Scotland! Thanks for posting op.0
