lost receipt

My wife ordered a pair of trainers in store at JD sports for home delivery. After a week they had not arrived and no contact from them. Called thier customer services who advised they are not available and should go back in store for a refund. She has only gone and lost the receipt.

Is there a way of her getting her money back without proof of purchase?

Can you get a bank statement showing the transaction? I have done this in another shop before now and got a refund.

Im confused if she hasnt had them delivered how can she claim a refund???? They will put the money back into her account if they cannot deliver surely!

Both seem to be assuming a card was used. If the OP payed by cash then they would need to go back to the store, but if cash is the payment method and the receipt lost then I think it's a lost cause

Unless if it was cash you could tell them what day an drought time they were bought ... Say I order then on sat between 4-5pm?? They could check computer and see they were bought.
