Any gym with a capped PAYG?

I know some gyms like puregym and gymgroup offer monthly without a 6 month or 12 month contract..
And I know you can freeze for x months with them for £5/£6 a month.. (and you can't freeze for weeks only months 'cos it's direct debit)
But with me, there may be some months where I only use the gym once, and other months where I use it lots.
I'd like to visit for like a day, for say £5 but if I visit 5 times I don't want to pay more than say £25 that month.

Try the council funded gyms, for example if your city has a sports centre for local teams to practice they usually have a gym and you can get a membership card and pay as you go....at least that was the case when I was living in Newport, Wales and it only cost me £4-5 each time0

If you don't eat the cake, it's wasted. Right?0 -

The Gym Group sell day passes for £5 a go, so that could be an option if you have one near you.Believe you can and you're halfway there - Theodore Roosevelt0 -

gym passes are designed for people going up to a few times in a month.
but not so good if you're going more than that, and the reason might become visible to you if you read the last sentence of my first post in the thread, so at a fiver a time and 5 times, I am better off going for monthly because there is no place offering capped PAYG. No disaster, as puregym and gymgroup clearly offer outstanding value for monthly.0
