Figuring out water bill...

Kua

I'm applying for a mortgage and they want to know my outgoings. Where do I go to find out how much I will have to pay in water bills? Sorry I'm probably being dense but I've googled around and can't figure this out.

You could ask the people whose house you are moving into !!
They may be on RV or they may have a metre.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

On the other hand, if they are asking your outgoings, they could just as easily mean your 'outgoings' now, which is what you are paying 'now' its a bit of an ambiguous question, but there again, its 25 years since I filled one of these forms in lol.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

If your new house is on a water meter and you are on a water meter now, then the amount you use probably won't change all that much in the new place.
When I was asked about my outgoings I just told them what I spend now on electricity / water / gas etc. because although the new house is slightly larger, I don't expect to suddenly be having extra showers or baths or heating the whole house to be like a sauna!DFBX2016 #024
