HI all, just a quick catch up am now up to date. was asking in my local T re the electrical items people have been reporting on hduk and he said it supposed to be boxing day sale items. and there was 6 pages of a4 with items on, its deleted stock so random to how much or little stores have in.
but going by hd i would like a few of the items people have found, as dh has come up with a very long wish list for this year and i could buy 1 of each n Ebay them to afford his list.

Hi - does anyone know if the infamous New Potatoes w. Herbs &c. are back on, in England, vs T? If they are, which ones or is it both versions? Scottish results appreciated too - as they may be an indication but pls make clear if they are from Scotland!

    TIA.

Haha :rotfl::rotfl: we have had the usual (pointless) discussion about Christmas dinner tonight, it's almost a tradition. Christmas is Wednesday so he wants chicken nuggets like every other Wednesday, with BE potato waffles and ketchup :(:o and he doesn't want wrapping paper on his presents, and he doesn't want many of them because he gets bored after the first 5 :o

It's a real balancing act trying to make it good and exciting for everyone else without him feeling overwhelmed :o

I feel for you - trying to keep everyone happy, don't know how you cope. Think you must be a very special Wife and Mum :)

    Hope all is well.
TS glad your dd2 arrived home safely. I drove into rain today and was amazingly heavy downpour.
Called in to see dad and dropped presents off to save lugging into hotel room from car. Spent a nice couple of hours with him.
Got to my usual room and they had moved sofa out. Apparently it had broken and they were not replacing. Had not even left a chair in its place. Must admit had got travel cot and they had put extra duvet on bed. Quick chat to reception and moved to room opposite with sofa so quite happy. Lad on reception helped me move things over and while I was at dinner bought an extra cot blanket for room as well. Lots of nappy sacks supplied which I have never seen before.

Had alaugh at dinner as 2 christmas crackers on table. Lass said either pull them yourself or keep. Funnily enough one thing on my list tomorrow was dd had not got crackers yet (only peppa pig ones) so my aim now is to get another 2 or 3 how mse is that:rotfl:

Tucked up in bed coughing and spluttering and left flu tablets in car so just extra paracetomol tonight. Don't feel too bad it could be worse. Dd has had flights changed for tomorrow 4am start but home by 2.30 so we can get last bits she needs or she can give me a list.

While driving up I got to thinking about gift cards
If I buy 5x £20 cards using coupon I would then get
    200 pts per card plus150 x2 as spending £100
If I have worked this right them

    5x20 cards total £100 plus 1000bonus points plus 100 normal points plus 2x £50 2x150.
Meaning my giftcard spend id worth £100 with 1400 in cc points
Add on a tesco £50 gc for £50 which gives 150 plus 50

So for the £150 of gc I need I will get 1600 cc point.

If my maths are correct I am going to invest money for spends likely in next 3 months. £50 I need as mr t but the £100 I could buy any that have £20 or £10 cards. Ideally debenhams, next and boots ready to spend in sale. This will help my next statement as been quiet on the points front

Might be able to treat myself on points very soon.

My theory sounds ood and I need an amazon voucher anyway. The best deal just depends on voucher demomination. After all I will need next and mr shoes cards for sales shopping.
Think I only have 5 vouchers with me so this would be my limit. Be very handy for points to use towards goldsmiths or avios..

In other news my A had loads of their asda best chocolate like the taste the difference stuff at 50 a bar. I got honeycomb and 3 winter spice. Also got a tin of party rings as all sleep overs need midnight snacks:T
Got my wrapping paper from a thanks so much to the op. Now all safely warpped at dads.

Think I am going to collapse into a heap now. Can sleep until dd flight returns so planning a lay in as might not get much sleep tomorrow night

Scamps so please you have talked to your dd and straighened things out.
Maybe supprise them all with a non glitch present next year with clear price boundaries. I am sure she loves the things you give her just might not want the as her xmas present.
Good luch with your scan results.
