Just received y first ever tesco delivery. Have to say I am very disappointed! Rejected all the substitutions -eg instead of cadbury choc biscuits I got Jacobs crackers. 2 choc eclairs instead of profiterol stack. Gluten free christmas pud instead of gf mince pies. And smoked salmon use before 23rd which I didn't notice.
So gonna have to go shopping afterall:mad::hello: The grass is not greener, it just looks that way from a distance :hello:0 -
Hi, Has anone had time to work out the best way to use up the dairy MOCs in MrT? I only need milk & cream so am looking for BOGOF/2 for £ good offers. Thanks
No I haven't. But I'm sure I will work it out, whether I get time or not:):rotfl:. Remind me if there's min.spend or anything. (I don't shop in T so I don't know.) The milk would immediately seem to be 6pt vs A - £1.99 and £1.48 (not as good as 10% chpr than £1 prices on 4 pts elsewhere but near enough). That pretty much limits it to a comp vs A - any cream in A cheaper?
I know the other way (without MOCs) was good - as A's 300ml single cream was comparing to Creamfields at 65p. Now, sadly, showing comp. to T own brand at £1.05 on msm.co.uk. Maybe Creamfields cream on T PP will be non-comp vs A? However, it seems they have risen to 85p:eek:. Otherwise it may be 2 of the aerosol cans vs M's, although then losing 10% (but offset by the MOC) and then lose on the milk comp. (Or you could then go 3x4pt vs M at same, but maybe T PP doesn't pick up M's mbuy:eek: - in which case, could it be Creamfields 4pt £1.00 vs M at N/A, doesn't that compare vs A at £1 (for historical reasons related to when the price check was just vs A, but go N/A vs everywhere else?), plus 2x own brand aerosols? Thinking aloud - let me check msm, and apparently also the Alton Towers postcode on M's website now! Ideally you want the items that reach the spend for the MOC to be all cheaper in one place elsewhere, so that effectively you spend less to get the same MOC discount.)0 -
I don't like you calling my post Bullsnit
I have scanned the receipt and if anyone would be good enough to explain how to post it on here will gladly do so.
The teller pressed too many 00's that's all. It happens to me at least once a week at my work. Occasionally I don't catch it before I press "cash" so goes through. I only give the customer their correct change, rather than empty the till though..
It's only a game

Afternoon all.
Anyone know where I can get a ipod usb charging plug from??0 -
The first batch of apple danish pastries are out of the oven, cooling off. I did them all in one go, and a couple of them on the top shelf just 'caught' a bit - will still get eaten though ... I'm off round to some friends this evening and they have three daughters, so I'll take these with me. I doubt if I'll be bringing any back.:)
I used the Jus-Rol pastry and some windfall apples, so apart from a handful of currants (picked out of a value bag of mixed fruit) and a sprinkling of caster sugar, the total cost was, erm, let me work it out ...
