I used a "25 bonus point on any flower purchase" coupon on a 10p bunch the other day. :money:
The SA thought it was brilliant
Everything I buy, with extra points, will cost me less than the value of the amount of points back. I've called it my "Tprofitshop" and will hit the store preferably as soon as a competitor becomes more favourable on one of the items required! If not, it's still zero-cost equivalent.
Remind me, if you may, of the amount the stores get charged for each debit card transaction regardless of the actual amount spent. If I keep my transactions down low, pay by card with that amount, perhaps by splitting shops - although then fewer items and maybe no chance to PP (never mind!) - hopefully they will lose on the shop there as well. Also do you have details of any items that are being sold below cost price? I want only to buy those and not anything that may be on half price but on which they still make some profit. Obviously 1p whoopsies and 10p items will be below cost price - but when items go on offers at 85p etc. - are they still making some profit? How much do the stores actually buy products for and which offers (which products) are the ones on which they are making a loss? (I don't wish to buy anything that's on a 50p offer if they are still making any money (no matter how little) on it - so can you advise which 50p products etc. are below cost price, so I can stick to those!?)
TIA!!

a chocolate story before bed
DS2 came into the living room at bedtime tonight to tell me he was ( in his words) truly truly disgusted.......at opening (what's known in our house as) the sweetie drawer and finding in there. A bar of chocolate (G&B) that was not only 60% dark......but horror of horrors had chilli in it as well
.......last seen shuffling upstairs in fleecy angry bird pyjama bottoms mumbling to himself about disgusting people who eat that stuff (me) he told me that it offends him
night
Brilliant :rotfl:
I love that he felt compelled to come in and convey his disgust :rotfl:0 -
120g box of maltesers has £1 cashback on shopitize :j :j :j
They're only £1 in Mr S :money:
Happy xmas to me
Happy xmas to me
Happy xmas dear meeee
happy xmas to me
And 99p for Mr M. If anyone wants to chance!:rotfl::)
When you mentioned the 360g allegedly going at £1 in A yesterday (from hotdeals according to you), I thought about this and hoped that, if they were £1 in A, hopefully the system would get confused, think the 120g one has been bought and, with any luck, compare against M at 99p or Sains. at £1:rotfl:.

when I worked retail every debit card transaction cost us 35p  and every credit card sale was 3%
Even banking cash incurs a charge of about 60p per £100
It varies by merchant/card processing company. Bigger stores can probably negotiate a smaller fee
These charges are why stores offer cashback on debit card sales. If you buy something for £1 it will cost them 35p to process. If you buy something for £1 and ask for £100 cashback it will STILL only cost them 35p but they will have saved 60p because they don't have to bank the £100 cashApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

I was gutted that my store was still £3
I haven't had maltesers since the co-op was giving them away with shop, scan, save
Before that I had jars of them all over the house thanks to the see through promotional packets :rotfl:Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

Had a very good day, morrisons car park paid me £1 to park there for 4 hours, use their carpark as it is cheaper than the other carparks:D
Thanks COT my m&s order arrived at work today, I must have got a picker/packer who could not count because I received 6 extra items I did not order
Got home tonight from work and my oh has bought us a new dining table and 6 chairs, its huge (just need him to tighten up all the screws as he rushed to put it together before I got home)
and its my birthday today yiphee, oh gave me flowers as usual the only problem is he asked the flower girl to bling it out and she put glitter all over them, now everyone and everything including the cat has glitter on them, its every where:eek:
Right then off for a cuppa and catch up
Happy birthday and a belated one to Locarr 'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -
The cineworld code on 10 wys also works as bogoff on 3d movies. Nice saving if cinema with kids is on your to do list. Also giving 10% off. Pay for nibbles with card registered with quidco for another 10% saving.
Just waiting for ds2 to let me know if we are going to see Hobbit or the 3d dinasaurs. Must say I fancy dinasaurs.
