Mildred you can definitely give the 1p sweeties to the food bank. PD and I did that with the Moshi monster sweets, the Lindt eggs, lots of others I can't remember and the volunteers said it was lovely because it meant the kids could have a treat
They tend to have an over abundance of pasta and tinned tomatoes (not that they don't need those items) so it's always a great idea to give something a bit different.Debt free 6th December 2014

Have you tried in the Disney Store for the cars paper ?
No disney store anywhere near me and too late to order. Hoping to try The works tomorrow if not disney store near dd so will be an xmas eve job.
Saradol mr A do some useful plastic bin things for £3. Useful afterwards as toy boxes. I have some I put holes in that I use to grow potatoes. They also do a very large size and come in quite a few colours.
