  • I would like to add the people at Macains to my e card list.
Could some kind person please pm me their email address.

On the subject of DM coupon queen. I am sure she must frequent both here and 10 wys as so many things seem familiar. Must be on 02 as quite a few small BS items but as Mildred pointed out no free cards or wrapping paper. I love the 02 Be more Dog paper. She is also not near a fragrance shop either.
Then again might jst be 10 wys as she has not learnt to stock up properly yet.
I must admit after 18 months I am only really just learning to make the most of the offers that are useful to me.

I do hope jamsponge can get her tv sorted. Unfortunately they do not tell you when buying that they reserve the right to mend if over 3 months old.
Sale of goods act, goods must be fit for the purpose for which they were intended.
Any small business would have offered to loan a tv whilst it was off being repaired.

It is ally not good enough nowadays that such a considered purchase is not covered properly. I don't think I would ever be happy with a large purchase that needed repairing so quickly.

Interesting reading about emailing/writing praising companies and getting vouchers etc.
Recently I opened a packet of frosties and the inner packet was stuck to the bottom of the box. I was trying to get it out as transferring the frosties to a plastic container and they all fell out the bottom into the box. I facebooked Frosties via their page and told them incase it wasnt an isolated case and to sort of warn them. Never even got a response let alone any vouchers :(

Certain big companies are really carp. Cadbury, Coca Cola, Walkers and Kelloggs fall into that category.

Nestle on the other hand were sending out £6 worth of vouchers even if you said something like "your products are ace". I think the last time I heard, they were sending out £2 vouchers, but for a quick email, it's better than nothing.

I had success with QUORN, NESTLE, PATAKS and a few others. I didn't make up any complaints, just congratulated them on their ranges and tastes etc.

There is a thread on successes from different companies on MSE somewhere. I can't remember where exactly but folk were posting on what vouchers/gifts they received for compliments being sent.
