I think that's often true scamps. I think men are braver and more adventurous at trying things and sometimes it works really well. If it doesn't we never get to hear about it:o

Ahem, fathers too
:rotfl: Glad to hear you're doing your bit aau1. :rotfl:
Normally in this house DH beetles off abroad and guess who takes up the slack?
I well remember one year when he was at home for a few days before Xmas and offered to help, so I tasked him with getting some logs for the fires - a nice manly task I felt, and ticked it off my list. Went out early on Christmas Eve morning to get some last minute bits and came back to find I couldn't swing the car back in the drive - it was covered with a mountain of logs! With the thoroughness typical of his race, he'd only gone and ordered a lorryload! So yours truly had to spend a couple of hours she hadn't planned that day wheelbarrowing logs up and down the courtyard so we could get the cars in and out!
When I tell you our main Christmas meal takes place on Christmas Eve, you will well be able to imagine that my joy was unbounded that day. He's never been allowed to forget it! :rotfl:Hope is not a strategy.0 -

Don't forget the 'free delivery code' which takes £4.50 off a £40 spend - works for Del or C&C.
Thanks for reminding me Pacifica.....and I know Locarr mentioned it too.
