    Morning all

Had a busy busy evening yesterday wrapping presents and making up hampers. DH had to blitz the kitchen rearranging the stash on top of the cupboards as we had a little delivery :D

My ward manager rang to ask if she could pop in after work, I assumed to give me my off duty for next month.
She came with armfuls of presents from my colleagues - I was totally speechless :A

This was the contents of my hamper

Plus there was a card with a wad of notes in jawdrop.gif She said they want us to have a good Christmas after a [STRIKE]sh[/STRIKE] *realises small people are present* rubbish year :D

I'm definitely going to treat us to a proper bottle of bubbly this year :)

Oh Logie, that is so lovely. You, your DH, and your boys so deserve it. Have a happy, happy christmas.

I'm not an emotional person, and I have tears running down my face cos this what Christmas is all about.:A

I've just defrosted my big freezer (seeing as its too darn cold todo nything in the garden). I'm puzzled by how, try as I might, I couldn't get everything back in after it was defrosted - had a large carrier bag full of rolls, bread plus some unidentifaible meat bits left over ! I was also taken aback to find 2 enormous legs of lamb, 10 BNI curries, 4 beef joints (from ages back - the new Asda ones are in my other freezer) and a large bag of sirloin steaks (which I remember getting years ago when Ts were still doing R&R) plus a pile of racks of lamb and pork fillet slices from T's glitch a year or 2 ago. I didn't know I had any of that lot - DH has thrown a complete wobbly and banned me from buying any more food apart from bread and milk !

Its really strange cos, before I decided to defrost the b***** thing I had already shuffled the top layer around and convinced myself that I had room for 8 more packs of Jusrol!I couldn't even squeeze in a single sprout now so thats put the kybosh on my shopping plans for this afternoon. I've just been told iI can't buy any more meat until after we come back from Sri Lanka in February (not sure if he means 2014 or 2015) and he has no idea how much stuff is in the upright freezer yet!
