I am trying to figure out how much 4 meal deals would be after the wine discount and the mash discount.
Mind you this would only work if you could find 4 of the wine, when I've got this before there is either no wine or just an odd bottle - I just check the wine section as I've never seen them in the finest meal deal sections.Good morning all,
Here's my TvA shop from last night. I had quite a few coupons and vouchers to use including £4 off £40 spend. I took advantage of the 20% off 4 finest wines by getting 4 finest meal deals with 4 Garnacha and 3 mash. Sub-total £82.81, total to pay £42.90 after savings and £31.81 after coupons. 167 points earned and a PP for £10. I used a double points voucher but I'm not sure if that has worked, the coupon scanned and is on the receipt but my points were not doubled.

A really nice SA happily scanned my coupons and realised I'd got both the finest wine discount and meal deal discount and reckoned that I was clever and must get the Martin Lewis emails. I replied "wait until you see this" just as the £10 PP popped out, her reply was "I don't believe it".“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Tbh, they aren't worth a special journey imho, they are more doughy than croissants should be. They are ok, nice from the oven , but I'm not sure I'd get more. has anyone tried the pain au chocs? Are they ok?
I cooked a pack of these this morning for DH (who is totally hooked on pain au chocolat). Very easy to do and surprisingly good - he stuffed down 2 of them staight out of the oven and pronounced them excellent. I don't usually like them at all but I did try one and have to say the pastry was lovely. The chocolate filling is quite strongly flavoured. I glazed them with milk and they came out nicely golden - needed 2/3 minutes longer than the pack said though.
I've been told to get some more !ELITE 5:2

This is the problem with getting up at 7 on a Saturday, both the Tesco and Sada lists done by 10, bacon sandwiches completed and eaten as well.
I can't think of a good enough excuse to go back into town and anyway OH does not seem to have enough patience to do more Christmas shopping.
So that means I have no excuse but to do more cleaning and clearing before Christmas which seems to be what I've been doing for most of this week and its so tedious. Visitors will only be here for a week over Christmas and neither of them will even notice...
Better get on with it ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

I got 3 of the meal deals in a shop today but just added a mini bottle for 2.19 and got the discount of 4.25 ish, forgot that discount would come off so my spend was just under the 50 for a cs coupon, so I ran back to the loo roll isle
Big Thanks to Durham :T for my CS coupons they came yesterday so perfectly planned shops done today :beer:0 -

I make it £31.80.
£2.60 mash discount, £5.60 wine discount and then £8 PP if 4 garnacha bought or £10 if you also get the lasagne so potentially £21.80 for 4 meal deals taking into account the PP.0 -

He loves them so much he takes them up to bed with him :rotfl:
I'm going to T's later, it takes me ages to get him away from the vacuum cleaner aisle
And I can't go anywhere near a Currys, last time he had a meltdown when we left:eek:
