It's a mixed bag of reductions. John Lewis are matching but I want to buy giftcards for HoF in T to get my points :money:
Hopefully the cards I buy in the morning will work at night. :money: If not I'll just wait for the next brand event to come along
Does anyone know how long Hof cards bought in T take to activate?
TIAApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
Did everyone else already know that quidco has loads of places you can upload a receipt for cashback (like Bodysh0p, Fragranc3 Shop)?
Some of them are also on Snapnsave :money:

I always thought the "in-store cashback" was all done through registered cardsApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
Right, night folks
Gotta get up early to go to Ts afterall
Not because of their crappy deals  :rotfl: I just want to give my HoF giftcards as long to activate during the day as possibleApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
I think I am the first up this Friday
My neighbour has been having work done this week. Monday he seemed to be having every bit of plaster off the living room wall so the builder was thumping the wall all day, my headache was desperate.
We live in old cottages and the walls are only one brick thick.
Last night there was a terrible smell of kerosene upstairs. I woke up at midnight and it was so bad I went to sleep downstairs on the sofa with the cats - OH got up at 4 and went off to work at 5
So he had a word with the builder when he got home last night. OH asked builder if he was using a paraffin heater to dry plaster out, no he wasn't. Builder said neighbours central heating was on. The only thing we could think of was that he was using the greenhouse paraffin heater but why ????
Well I was convinced I could smell something again last night and when I woke at 4 I definitely could smell kerosene again.
Our walls are so thin you can smell when the toast is done and neighbour once came round to complain about my OH cooking bacon.
Anyway I'm up now, back on the sofa, washing load in the machine, cup of hot chocolate.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Just spoken to DS. He has friends who have used sites similar to this and received them....obviously fakes.
That'll teach me to rush around like a fly with a blue bum:o
Did it refer you to another link for payment ? that's what most of the Chinese sites do.
They do this so you have not made a direct payment to them.
The credit card company cant recover the money from them and you are not covered if you did not make a direct payment:eek:
very clever of them and no way for the payment to be recovered by the buyer :mad:0 -

Morning all and morning mhoc, I won't say g'morn as it doesn't sound like you are having one.
I'll keep this brief (suffering from insomnia and hoping ill fall back asleep...but, read your post and got worried for you and could not ignore your post) I work in this field. And have also been the victim of / and helped many victim's of inconsiderate neighbours building, all hours of the day / incorrectly in order to rush a job.
1, Please phone your local council, apart from noise pollution there is the section which deals with smells - discuss the issue and if you and they feel you should, report asap. I know I would if it was kerosene.
2, note the name of the building firm if on the builder's vehicle, - check on fmb.org.uk and goodbuilderguide.co.uk
3, when working on the party wall, anything more than light drilling / painting or re-plastering - neighbour cannot usually do without a Party Wall notice being served to you first.; ask your neighbour what they are doing, exactly. do tell me and I will advise you further if you wish. read here https://www.gov.uk/party-wall-etc-act-1996-guidance
4, even if the work they are doing is fine to do without a party wall notice being served, noise pollution, or right dept at your local council can limit their banging / heavy work to a max of 2 hrs per 24hr period. I know if I were your Surveyor, I'd be implemented and insisting this be adhered to.
Right going to try and fall asleep... love and hugs to you, hope today won't be too noisy x x
And all other naughties:rotfl:;) Love to ya all from FF:eek:x x
