I agree, but I still get embarrassed when sometimes I slip out something, for example I slipped out at a friends house about the BS glitch, then as soon as I had opened my mouth, I realised I was giving them one of the gift sets in their xmas box. You dont spend any less on them (not that that matters) you just can give them better quality/quantity gifts.

I have this exact problem Dave :o I excitedly tell Mum/MIL/sis/friend about a fantastic glitch and then have to hope they forget before their bday/Xmas :rotfl:

Sorry for all of your hassle TM. Think you'll have made us all think twice though so thank you for the reminder x

since the website has a "right to cancel prior to shipping" clause, email them now. They might still process the charge but at least if you do this then you can more easily dispute it with your bank as you cancelled per the advertised terms of the retailer .

Did it immediately aau but as it's under £100 don't think it'll do any good:o

I've had that before DM. It's funny how when you tell someone how much something cost you, the present seems less worthwhile to them. Surely it's the gift itself (not the money that came out of your pocket) that's the main thing? I've decided to keep quiet about it with pretty much everyone and just say 'I got a good deal'.

My parents know their gift won't have cost me much but my Dad will love that :rotfl:

I know what you mean. Fortunately most of the people I'm giving hampers to find it amusing and are utterly confused how glitches work. :)

No matter what I have bought people and the cost, my mum will tell everyone I got it for free or stole it from a shop! Sometimes I give up!!
