    Ideas please.

Secret santa £10, I've drawn a diabetic, mid 50s, overweight, serious guy. I know he is married, but I don't know anything else about him. Haven't a clue what to get, haven't seen any evidence of much of a sense of humour so don't want to risk anything too funny.

Is he a foodie...that opens loads of opportunities:)

Why don't you send him a ladies toiletry set, with a label that it is for his wife for putting up with the grumpy sod!

Can't do anything while it's pending only when it's paid:o

Just spoken to DS. He has friends who have used sites similar to this and received them....obviously fakes.

That'll teach me to rush around like a fly with a blue bum:o

    :)

The teenage daughters of a work colleague have been buying these too.
They were delivered to work & box opened & daps inspected. Looked ok, but then I don't know what the real ones look like.

would love to have someone in real life to share deals etc with, people at work just laugh and ask what bargains i've got lately and others just ask me to show them the freebies and give up when have to look at several websites, fill in details lots of times
Fortunately there is someone at my work who is a fellow MSE bargain-hunter (it was she who first pointed me in the direction of this forum, when I asked her how she had managed to get a casserole dish from Mr T for 4 pence:)).
I often try and pass on details of useful freebies and glitches to family and friends, but it's surprising how many don't bother ("It's dirt-cheap/free, for pete's sake", or slightly stronger words to that effect:o, is what I usually think). For example, for the Nouvelle MOC, I even did a step-by-step idiot guide and printed it out to hand round, but I don't anyone has bothered to do anything about it.
I have also heard the comment "Oh I sounds like too much trouble" ... some people are just like that. (And that's not a moan, just an observation.)

Have a good night, everyone

    Credit card:o

    oh :(

I reckon you'll probably get some fakes. The ones that just take your money and send nothing don't usually offer paypal. Section 75 refunds on credit cards are only for purchases over £100. Still worth contacting your credit card provider to see if they can halt or reverse the payment. Try and pay by PayPal where it's offered

It's like a secret double life, I'm very selective about who I talk to about it

Most of my family just expect me to sort glitchy stuff out for them

I tell bestie about it, she goes and does it herself. She's brilliant.

And I can't wait to see her face when she opens her sodastream on Christmas Day!

My Family know of my moneysaving ways...I try to educate the Mrs but she seems to think she a millionaire and wastes money hand over fist!

When I give my sister a present, she will ask how much did you get this for or was it free etc! what she doesn't realise is if I have a budget of a tenner and get something 75% off she gets a £40 gift...if I was a muggle she would only be getting a £10 gift as that was my budget IYSWIM!
