Good evening all.
Sorry to quote myself but does anyone have any insight on the above please? Do I need to cancel my membership now or wait? TIA
I did the Tasting Club last year and cancelled just a day or two after receiving the chocs. My reason for cancelling was that there were too many alcoholic ones in the box. (not sure if it applies this year, but I expected a mixed box, but over 70% were "unsuitable for the kids, or Grandparents due to medications") No probs cancelling.
It's only a game

Left abusive ex and started a new relationship, fell pregnant by accident and abusive ex then threatened to harm both myself and the baby. Since we went to school together we have several mutual aquaintances and I don't want anything popping up on Facebook or in the local paper that could lead him out way if you see what I mean.
Edited to add: 'baby' is now almost a teen so it should feel safe by now, maybe I'm just being paranoid.
Been there, my mum left my very abusive dad when I was 16, we left with nothing but our clothes and spent the first few years receiving threats via family members etc and lived in fear of him turning up even though we had moved from London to Wales away from him. My mum was still scared of him up until she passed away. Not a nice position to be in at all, I hope you are safe and stay that way xxx
Edited to say: My mum did leave when I was little but he found her and she was forced back and said she'd never put me through that again until I was older, so you are much braver than she was able to be. I still worry about something bringing him out of the wood work even though I haven't seen him for over 25 years!0 -

Cancelled this evening. I've checked the accompanying letter (dated 2nd) and it says cancel 'within the next 10 days or so', so I'm hoping I'm ok at that.
Many thanks to you for the info (and to tbw also).:)“Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while you could miss it.” ~ Ferris Bueller0 -
couldnt believe it earlier, got stopped by security in T's. One thing lead to another and they called the Police. When they arrived they placed me under arrest and said 'Anything you say will be held against you'.

A little reminder. For anyone that did the Bzz yoghurt/ cheese campaign, the post campaign survey is available. Not only does it improve your Bzz score and the likelihood of getting more surveys, but you get 25 clubcard points for a few minutes effort.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
