Ni-mum, with regards the video of the nativity, firstly it is very disruptive for everyone if there are lots of cameras flashing and people videoing, so it is better for everyone if there is a pro doing it. Besides the fact that the quality of most phone cameras etc. will not get a good photo/video in the dark conditions, that is if they can get past the persons head sat in front.

But, with regards child protection, having a pro do the video does mean they can cleverly edit out any child that is under a child protection order so that there image is not on the final copy. You may well never know if there is any children affected in your school, but having this option is one way of ensuring that the school complies.


And yes, it is a great monespinner for the school.
