I got a £10 one, then a week or so later another £5. The £10 was for signing up and the £5 was for a daily perk thing. Did you not get the £10 as well then? That's strange.
It's only a game

Had a fairly busy but sad week. My dear Aunty was cremated on Monday and it was a very flat and sad affair. Her 2 children made no secret of their difficult relationship with their mother ( although we were not really aware of it until she got ill) and both spoke of it in their very short readings. My aunt was a gregarious lively person who loved music, bingo, dancing and flowers. The only evidence of any of this was a bingo card wreath from some friends. The mood was somewhat lightened by the fact my brother and sister got lost with Mum on the and arrived after the coffin and my sister proceeded to come into church the wrong way, knock off Mum's hat, knock over 2 prayerbooks and run the wheelchair into my legs at the crematorium!!
I am heartbroken she has gone as she was a rock to me many times over the last 10 years and I will miss her terribly. DD and I have been lighting a candle for her every evening and her ashes are going to Ireland at the weekend to be scattered on Grandad's grave. My only remaining Aunt lives there and assures me they will have a proper Irish wake for her. Goodnight and God Bless Ita.
Must go now toilet rolls to be bought!!!
Sorry for your loss. x I know there are difficult relationships in most families but the funeral isn't the most appropriate time to air them, especially when other family members such as yourself are grieving.0 -
