Shoes were lovely but i would break my neck in them

Thanks. So would I, they were her shoes. She has loads of Christian Louboutin and Jimmy Choo's  but still gave me a carrier bag with her (platform :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:) flip-flops in for the restaurant.

    Thank you folks :)

I've been threading baubles. I gt them cheap from Tesco in January and I'd got about three quarters of the way through the box before I found the strings- I'd been using cotton to thread them :o

On that note, I'm off to bed so goodnight folks :)

evening peeps, just reading backwards and spotted this.

I have a long long history with tospots stores going way way back to free h/b voucher days and "If we have overcharged you we will give you the product and give you your money back" days. Believe me..tospots is about the most polite thing I have ever called them. Oh for the days of being refused a trolley of beauty/other products for free because they wouldn't accept their own vouchers and me saying " Oh dear, well you'd better put it all back then.." and waltzing off leaving a conveyor belt full behind...
I hasten to add this was only done to the troutiest of trouts who have always looked to me like they believe that sucking on a lemon means that they have met their target of 1 fruit a day. They all look so similar that I did at one point start to believe that tospots had a trout school as part of their training and/or were conducting genetic experiments at Cheshunt and actively breeding them.......tospots they were then and tospots they remain apart from the sweet lovely ones...who take my coupons and smile..:rotfl:

  • DS was asked to leave education end of May, as they couldn't educate him anymore :( been trying really hard to find some sort of employment or placement for him, sadly nothing. He is struggling at the moment, thinks no one wants to employ him because of his autism and takes rejection very personally. Trying to wade through it at the moment so only dipping in and out from time to time.

Och Witch Hazel this is very sad. Thing is he may be very good at manual labour - gardening etc. What about another course for him where he would get funding eg. horticulture / apprenticeship.

oh Witch hazel, so sorry to read this :( it's heartbreaking! Im probably telling you stuff you already know, but the National Autistic Society are brilliant! Their helpline is a mine of information. They might be able to tell you of any training schemes etc. in your area that may be suitable for your son. Most of them are sadly not well advertised. If nothing else, they are very understanding with good ears!!

I hope things improve for you both soon. It must be so difficult. Don't forget to look after yourself too. :A
