Oh I had that. Is it just me or does it make it sound like it will turn the hair purple  :rotfl:

Not blonde so no good to me.

When I had blonde hair, the hairdressers gave me a bottle of shampoo, that was bright purple, it supposed to keep your highlighted hair from going orange.

Eeeek! My boss has just been over for my return to work meeting. Have nervous butterflies in my stomach already but can't wait to get back to a job I love and some normality.
They've sorted me a good phased return and some supernumery shifts so hopefully I'll manage the transition ok :D

    Good news Logie.

If the gaggia is giving you problems with weak coffee shots try a finer grind and tamp it down really firmly. Worth a try.

ooh thank you ....will try it. The first few were so strong that they were undrinkable and the next few so weak they were undrinkable too:o

    Thanks TBW and Where's.

Maybe I should try and use the PP first then. I didn't delibrately setup this situation. I genuinely need to return a pricey bottle from my receipt. I'd happily forgo that element of the PP but I don't want to lose the rest of it! It's a tricky one.

Its not really too tricky - take the item back for a refund, don't mention the PP and then just use the PP as usual. Given how we all manipulate so much with glitches, price errors etc, this really isn't a big deal. You didn't do it on purpose (unlike some people) so just accept it as a little early Christmas bomus from mr T.

Sounds a very satisfying job. I am so glad that they are positively helping you back into the swing of things, you read horror stories of things going wrong because there are not enough midwives on duty.
