Can anyone tell me where I can bulk buy 1kg of sodium bicarbonate and 500g of citric acid cheaply and locally (ie Boots/B&Q etc etc)

We ordered ours off the internet, I think Ebay. It may be worth checking in the large Asian supermarkets as you can often get big bags of all kinds of interesting things very cheap at them.0

Wilkinsons do boxes of bicarb, I got a 500g box in there but not sure of price. I expect they also do citric acid0

Wilkos sell two types of citric acid. There's one with all the laundry stuff and one with the wine making. I couldn't tell you what the difference in the two is but I used the wine making one when I made a couple of bath bombs.
Do chemists sell that kind of thing? I vaguely remember something about the pharmacy having quantities of something or other. I could be wrong though and thinking of something else entirely.!0 -
