Craft magazine subscription help

Afternoon all, hope you are all staying safe in this weather

I'm looking to get myself a magazine subscription, my dad suggested it as a Christmas present to me from him.

As we are on a tight household budget, I don't actually buy craft magazines, so I'm not too sure what to go for!

I like to sew, but I'm happy to try other crafts like knitting, crochet etc. I saw Homemaker magazine, is that any good?

The other thing is budget, my dad generally spends about £25 for my gift, so a good discount code would be fab! I might also look at a 6 month subscription as that would cost less,

Any help greatly appreciated :)
Can't think of anything smart to put here...

I currently have a subscription to Simply Homemade which was a gift. I think ayears subscription is near £40 so maybe 6 months.

It has a very good select of paper crafts, card making, knitting, sewing, corchet, baking etc and some nice free gifts.

I don't know if there are any craft magazines available using Tesco vouchers but if your dad has some vouchers he could make his money go much further.

Can't help with any titles because I don't regularly buy craft magazines just one now and again when a cover catches my eye.

  • If you do think about Simply Homemade, it is a good magazine with quite a lot of variety in, they have a six month subscription for £25.99 but you still get the subscription free gift.

The other magazine which I read quite often is Craft Beautiful, it is a similar format to Simply Homemade

  • I would go for Simply Homemade too as they have a good variety of crafts each month. A lot of other so called craft magazines tend towards more card making than anything else.

Mollie Makes is quite nice with some superb photography, but once you've finished looking at the pictures, there is not much left in terms of tutorials etc. Probably more Mollie than Makes :D
