Bringing down the cost of sending Christmas cheer from Down Under

Hi, it's my first Christmas down under and thinking I was being organised I bought my Christmas cards in the Jan sales. Problem is I've just looked into posting them to the uk and it's going to cost me approx equivalent of 1.50 for each card
I only want to post cards to family and close friends so just wondered if anyone knows of any better way of sending cards from within the uk eg offers from sites such as moonpig, funky pigeon or any other deals that may give me a cheaper way of sending Christmas cheer to my nearest and dearest. I can send free ecards to some of them, but the majority of the older relatives don't use the internet and I don't want to miss them out. I also like the personal touch of sending a card, especially as they have taken the trouble to send cards to me over here, but really don't want to spend a fortune on doing so.
Thanks for any help you can offer :xmassmile

having lived abroad in the Far East for a number of years I would check if any friends or neighbours are heading home for Christmas and would be prepared to post them for you once back home. We regularly had bundles of post for other people each time we came home and they generously did it for us in reverse.................0

Would it be worth sending all the cards as one package to one trustworthy person in the UK and getting them to put them in the postbox at UK rates?0

Thats what i would do, send them to a family member with a thank you letter and a cheque for the cost of stamps and ask them to post them
It would be cheaper to send ithem in bulk i would have thought?
