Returning a John Lewis Price Match Item for refund

I want to return an unopened ipad air bought online to a store for a refund.

Problem is, it was a price match item and a refund of about £48 has already been credited to my bank account for the price match.

Can I still get a refund instore and will I have to contact the price match department myself to pay them back the £48 or will they work it out in store?

Not sure if you can return it. I got them to do a price match and the paid me the difference back to my card but they said in there offer to price match that they would pay it to me once I was happy with my purchase.

I just spoke to them and they confirmed that you can still return the product.
