looking to go to London (Uxbridge) by 9am peak time what is the best quickestand cheapest way getting there? im from Peterborough will be leaving on the19th Dec

An anytime single from Peterborough to Kings Cross is £30 on a slow FCC train (1hr 10m) and the tube fare to Uxbridge is £5.50
On a fast East Coast train (50m) the single fare is £49.50 - but there are some advance fares available from around £25 if you buy now. That's probably your best bet. Tube fare the same
Allow an hour for the tube journey. You can save 50p on the fare by getting an Oyster card
