Cen loan disburs?

Hi guys, not sure if I am posting this in the right place or not, but here goes :-)

I noticed today that there was a credit in my bank account for £13.05 with the narrative CEN LOAN DISBURS. I have no idea at all what this relates too. Has anyone else seen this? I have tried searching for it on the internet but not much luck and have contacted my bank, Im now just waiting on them getting back to me.

Anyway, hopefully someone might know something about this as I am starting to get a little concerned xx

  • No idea. But as it is a CREDIT into your account, why would you be worried?
  • Disburs could be short for disbursement. Are you owed any money, especially from a company that may have gone into administration several years ago, or even an inhertitance? It can take that long for some company accounts to be sorted out.

Why would you not be worried if an unexpected and unknown transaction appeared in your account? It might be a mistake that needs sorting out, and I would think most people would like to know what any transaction is.
  • Not if it was for £13.05.

Why you freaking out for ?

Let your bank know about it and just dotn spend it.
  • Its in an account I no longer use - just noticed there was money in it when I was checking the balance of one of my other accounts - so if its there in error they can take it back out whenever, its not that I'm freaking about - was worried it was some sort of loan that I havent signed up for. Or some kind of fraudulant use of my account.

skinny_jeans - have you ever had a loan with poundstopocket or the like? After some digging I think it might be from them. I have a DMP and the last payment to P2P was made last month. Am thinking maybe they have been overpaid so have refunded the difference back to the account the original loan was paid to many moons ago. From the P2P website I see the following:
Pounds to Pocket is the trading name of CashEuroNetUK
    So CEN sounds right :-)
So if you have recently paid off a P2P loan it could be refund. Let me know if you hear anymore from the bank - or can confirm the above.
  • Hi. Still no luck finding out what this is...my bank was no help at all.

I have used pounds to pocket before. I had a loan with them a few years ago which is now paid off. I then took out another one which is still oustanding and is part of my dmp.

Maybe ask P2P what they know about
