refused mortgage due to pylon

My husband and I are trying to buy a house (offer accepted) but have been refused by our current lenders Virgin money, this is due to their policy on the proximity of a pylon very close by. we do not have a problem with the pylon and we still wish to purchase the property.
Has anyone had this problem before??
If so ere you able to borrow elsewhere?
Thanks
