Tesco direct debit finishing

Just had a letter from Tesco Bank saying that I wouldn't be able to fund my savings account by direct debit as from 15th February.

I was using it to make up the direct debits needed for the Halifax reward account. Back to the drawing board then!

Is this specific to your account, or a general T&C change?

OP, you can change title of this thread by editing you original post and going to Advanced Editing.

I got the letter today:

From 15th February 2014, you will no longer be able to fund your savings Account by debit card. Any payments that are attempted via this method will be rejected and will not proceed.

This will not effect any other aspects of your Account and you can continue to use all other funding methods outlined in your Terms and Conditions.
