Leaving Job - Still have holiday entitlement remaining question

I am leaving my job shortly (in a few more days) and I still have a number of remaining days holiday.
I do not 100% trust my boss and feel out of spite he might just not pay me the remaining 7 days holiday that I haven't taken. (I have had this confirmed from our HR department so this is definitely the correct number).
I know that this should be added onto my final wage when I receive it in approx 1 months time - Can anyone give me some advice on how to make sure i'll get this remaining holiday entitlement added to my final wage slip?
Any advice would be much appreciated.

who does payroll
Send a message asking for the p45 to be sent to your home address and remind them of the holiday

I'll send them a polite reminder ;-) Unless I do something silly (Like start a fight) - is there any way that he can 'legally' take these days away from me?0 -
No, he cannot take these days away from you. It is your legal entitlement. You have earned these holidays.
Stop worrying about it till it happens or doesn't happen. Are you on bad terms with your boss, is there any reason why you think he would even think of doing such a thing.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

They took my leaving personally that's all & wasn't very happy about it. I'm only thinking that way because i've heard 'stories' about him doing slightly 'dodgy' things in the past & probably think he'd do it just to get one back at me - obviously i'd be right onto ACAS if something like that does happen.0 -
One thing to remember is that holiday entitlement is generally pro rata and usually over the tax year April - March
If you have 24 days holiday per year then this is calculated as follows:
24 / 12 (months of the year) = 2
April - November = 8 months * 2 = 16 - any leave you have already taken.
It does not matter that you get 24 per year - if you have already taken the full 24 then they can reclaim this back from you0
