Lending Stream Help

Hi,

Back in 2011 I was young and gambling addict and my memories are a bit fuzzy from back then.

I had a few loans of Lending stream and all of them I paid back.

It appears there was a loan i took out in October 2011 for £300 that i didnt pay back.

Now during this time I have not once recieved a letter, an email or a phone call advising me of the loan, advising me that i have missed payments and to contact them.

The only reason I found out about this loan is the missed payments have gone onto my Nephews credit score. He lived in the same regiseted address.

He signed up to creditexpert today and all the missed payments are on his credit check but in my name????

How is this possible?

I called them today and they say I owe £944, I am disputing this as I would never had allowed it to go on for so long to reach this sum

I have offered them £500 @ £50 for 10 months.

Is there anyone I can write too to seek help as they are rejecting my £500 offer.

Also how does my nephew get the missed payments of his credit score??

Any help would be great, i feel sick in my stomach over this!!

He needs to raise the issue with the CRAs which are reporting this and advise that these agreements are not in his name.

You should seek advice from one of the free debt management companies with regard to reaching a settlement with Lending Stream.

Talk about your past catching up with you. I am at a stage in life were I have been debt free, gamble free for the past year. Have just moved into a new house with my girlfriend and then this happens!!
