Ok, i've now found that the pod machines are not going to be any use to me.
I'm looking for an automatic bean to cup coffee maker that will do latte and cappuccino etc
I have a budget of around £500
Any recommendations?

Read the reviews carefully. Someone I know wanted to buy a De Longhi one and decided against it after reading the reviews on Amazon.0 -
Hi, I've just bought a Delonghi ESAM04.350.S machine. I can thoroughly recommend. It can make just about any type of coffee you want with minimal fuss.
Amazon have it at £542 but argos and homebase £486. I waited until homebase had one of their 15% off weekends and got it around £420.0 -
I bought mine 2 years ago ( not sure of the exact model) and it's great. Think it was from House of Fraser in their pre Xmas sale.Kieran_sly wrote: »Hi, I've just bought a Delonghi ESAM04.350.S machine. I can thoroughly recommend. What is the cleaning like on the Delonghi machines? I purchased a Dulait machine (not bean to cup) and cleaning is time consuming and has made me stop using it due to this fact. I am also looking to purchase a bean to cup but don't want to have to waste 15 mins cleaning the machine after each use.0

Cleaning is easy as its mostly automatic. It self rinses every time you turn it on and off. There is a clean button on the milk carafe that fires hot steam through the pipes. you just need to empty the drip tray and grounds container every 7-8 cups and rinse the infuser monthly.
I also used to have a Dualit espressivo machine and this is a doddle compared to that.0
