Hubby is off work, playing golf....still he gets paid whether he is at work or not...and it is his birthday tommorrow so we will let him off;)

But he left at 3.30am:eek: ...and will get brekkie, lunch and a 3 course dinner in the price of his golf...so i only have to sort myself out :j ...problem is we have so much food to get through in the freezer... as it has to be emptied and cleaned on wednesday ready for removals on friday... anyone want a lobster, crab and salmon..amongst other things :o .... i cant even give it to family as the removals go friday and then we are off into a hotel until monday (paid for by the army..including a £16 food allowance each per day:T )......and i dont think the hotel would appretiate defrosted seafood in the room for 2 days :rotfl: :rotfl:

so i have taken out fillet steak for my tea...with the last of the oven chips and some veggies mmmmmm... trying to eat the best stuff first :D

We just spent a whopping £194 in Ikea... but it was budgeted and £6 under budget!! ;)

Picked up a Brita Water Filter thing from a lovely lady on Freecycle, and have just washed the covers on the 2nd sofa that we won on eBay. Despite todays massive spend, I think we've decked the new flat out very cheaply!

Rest of the week will be eating out the freezer, no steak in ours like MsMcCawbers though! xx

Wow there were a lot of early birds posting on this thread!

My spends today have been £1.89 on some beech smoked tofu in Tesco.

Boyfriend has bought the other bits we needed from Sainsburys AND he's treating us to an Indian takeaway (he's *not* in debt by the way) so, quite a good day for me really! ;)

Well I got paid today (phew!!!) and hubby was home (only married a month and I hadn't seen him for...8 days) so really REALLY wanted to go out and eat (treat) but decided not.
Instead went to local farm shop and bought a few bits and pieces for £1.98 and stayed in.

So total spend today £1.98 (compared to probably £40 +!)

The thing with having money in the bank is....it's never there for very long :(
  • well i spent £2.20 on lunch... not too bad but very unneccary
