Does anyone know of good ECU Tester and/or repair centre or garage in Yorkshire. Been told ECU on my Vauxhall is faulty and want to know if it's feasible to repair without having to go to vauxhall main agent.
Thanks for any help

It really depends on what the problem is.
If there is a fault in the hardware it will need to be a new ECU.
If it's a software problem someone with Tech2 may be able to reprogram it.
Depending what car it is there are enthusiast forums all over the interweb with people who will be able to offer specific advice. If you have an Astra / Zafira take a look at http://www.astraownersnetwork.co.uk/ and talk to Stampede.0 -
Thanks for that SimonD316 will give it a try0

Is this an Astra ?
This may sound silly, but on the bulkhead is a earth junction box, this earth junction box is a source of amusement when it starts and throwing random OBD codes and refusing to start is a symptom.Be happy...;)0
