Thanks guys, but I really dont want to get another contract. I only really send texts, I do very little calls so the £5 giff gaff goodybag is what im going to get. And then sometimes I wont even bother topping up.
And to be honest I have a work mobile which they give us a personal allowance for so may not even need to get one at all.

It depends, I will have been BR three years (2 years discharged) next spring and had no issues getting a SIM only pay monthly contract about a month or so back. Might be a different story if still BR of course .. and it does seems to be very hit and miss with these sorts of things but its not impossible.Grumpy_Shunter wrote: »Based on personal experience, I would say it is almost impossible to get a mobile phone contract once BR due to credit checks. Unless of course you get a family member to take one out on your behalf and you pay them by SO or DD each month.0
