Frankly I'd be more worried, if no-one suspected this refurb was about to take place, that the place is in serious difficulties and are going to hoover up the seasonal income and hope for the best. Refurbing a hotel needs a lot of planning with lots of site visits in advance to get the thing done as effectively as possible.
