Hope you didn't work too hard today - I go into holiday mode and am like "I don't care! I'm going on holiday!" Then have to deal with it all when I come back again.

I often Lurk on your thread Lilt, because I find it such a positive, lovely place to be. But I wouldn't normally post anything!
Have to make an exception today, because that picture of your Mumma has had the bizarre effect of making me grin massively whilst also shedding happy tears....:o
Sending my bestest, most positive vibes to your family for dealing with it all in such a life affirming way. Mucho respect to your fabulous Mum
Have a terrific weekend.0 -
Loving your new sig Levi!!! Very motivational; you've done so well!!
Thanks for the love for mumma guys. She is an inspirationand nonnatus thank you very much for delurking and leaving that beautiful message. Made me shed some happy tears too. My mum always manages to make me grin!! xx
Right what else has happened? My fitbit is broken - battery only lasts half a day which isn't exactly much use. Lost 9000 steps yesterday :wall: it only registered 7000and I had such a good day, walked to work and at lunchtime, walked home, and ran around the office like a mad thing trying to get everything finished up. So I am depressed.
I've got my new 0% for 16 months CC and have hit the button and purchased my new phone. Old battery is kinda like the fitbit. Lasting a couple of hours at bestit will do for Jellytot - will be wiping it of everything bar my kiddie apps and switching it to the new one. Before anyone says it, yes the apps are locked from being deleted, yes the restrictions include iTunes and the app store, and in app purchases are turned off. <Not a doughnut
Not sure if I am going to keep the same number. There are a few people I'd like to be rid ofbut if I can't find a plan that is as good value as my current one then I will just pretend to leave three like last time and get them to give me a new number for free
What else. Thursday night I ended up in bed very early again. Manic working week, worked late and was just shattered and had a stress headache. Friday more of the same only the headache would not go and by the time I got home it was a full blown migraine. That wasn't fun. Woke at midnight, turned my head slightly to the side and my face exploded in pain so I gave up and took one of the dreaded tablets. Feeling fuzzy but no migraine and not as bad a hangover from the tablet this time!
Jellytot still going great guns on the toilet usageshe had 5 straight days with no accidents, but has had the odd one here and there where she was just too focused on what she was doing to notice the signals/move appropriately. All good really.
Don't know if anyone remembers Headabovewater but she became a nanny in the early hours of this morning.:D Congratulations to her!! And to her DD
a little boy, mum and baby both very well
Have nearly clocked my target 12k steps today and wouldn't you know it, the fitbit is about to die. Turns out it can't keep up with me!! :rotfl:
Have been out with Jellytot this morning and she cycled all the way to the post office to drop in a card and all the way back up the Leas which is a fair old whack for a littl'un - she is now happily playing busy shapes on the 'Got' aka my phone. She always calls it a got. Not sure if it is because I've always said what have you got?!
P.S I am rocking a strappy top and a skirt todaymy pasty legs are shameful but they won't get browner under jeans :rotfl:
Have a lovely afternoon everyone! xxx

I bet you're looking fabulous with all the weight loss you've achieved so far so you should be really proud of that, rock those summer clothes for all it's worth
Sorry about the migraine, how pants. Hope you don't have a repeat performance anytime soon. Glad 'Tot is still doing well with the toilet training, what a superstar.
And we know where she gets thatxx Loads love xx
