What percentage of mortgages go through successfully after agreement in principle is given? We've had offer accepted etc and I'm so nervous the mortgage won't come through and I will have wasted money with solicitors and surveys

Its best to stick with just 1 thread for any question that you have...

The mortgage company will be needing the Survey prior to the offer being released (as they would be agreeing that the property is suitable security for the mortgage)..
Unfortunately some things have to run in parallel. After all what if you got the offer but then the survey undervalued or highlighted a lot of work is required..0 -
The percentage accepted or declined will not give you any indication of what will happen to yours.
Get your valuation done and offer issued, then have your homebuyer's done, if that's what you want.I am a mortgage broker.
