Mortgage Assistance

I am 25 (female) and a first time buyer.
I am looking to purchase a house for £99,950 with a £10,000 deposit so need a mortgage of 90%.
I have been working with a mortgage broker but he has been struggling to find something to fit. He has tried Natwest and Newcastle BS but both will only do 85%.

Can anyone recommend any other lenders that would be more suitable? I bank with Santander, is it worth trying them?
My credit rating on Equifax is 'fair' so I don't want to go to too many lenders as they will all presumably credit check me and I will end up with lots of searches?

Any advice is much appreciated.

Stop guessing and stop letting your broker guess at lenders. Some lenders are more likely than others to accept at 90%, but this is dependent upon your individual circumstances.

    Good luck

Is your broker a Whole of Market?

If not then use someone who is.
