Mortgage with a CCJ?

Hi there,
Me (aged 33) and my partner (aged 28) would like to buy a house, we have £30,000 as a deposit and would like to buy a property for £175,000-£200,000. We both work full time; I earn £40,000 a year and my boyfriend earns £17,800 a year.My partner has a clean credit record, however I have a CCJ on my Experian credit file for £680 for an old water bill (which my ex partner left me with) This was marked as satisfied just over a month after it went on my credit file and was in August 2011. In addition there are 5 defaults on my account from 2007-2008. Happy to say I'm back on track now with finances and really hope we can get on the property market.
What are our chances of getting a mortgage? And where do we need to go to apply? Has anyone ever managed to get a mortgage with a CCJ?
Grateful for any info

Case for a broker this.
How much were the defaults for, when listed and have they been satisfied?

I would be pretty confident you can get a mortgage, but i think you need to speak to a broker.
Your not going to be getting market leading rates at the minute but something under 5% should be achievable all being well.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. The CCJ was registered in July 2011. The defaults vary from £100 - £400.0 -

Echo most of the comments above, this is definitively achievable on sensible rates subject to the absolute detail.
Nothing you have shared so far would be a dealbreakerI am a Mortgage Broker

Ash friends/family or try google maybe for a broker?
Try to avoid estate agent based brokers, the majority of complaints about brokers i see on this site tend to come from people who used the in house estate agent broker.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
