If you have a cash converters shop try it, I got 1.44 to the £ at the weekend (No commission/no charges) I didn't even know they had a bureau there until I walked into their store ;)

I usually use the Post Office for all currency - only travel agents in this town is Thomas Cook and their rate never seems to be as good when I need it......and I always forget to order days in advance from the bank who never have any in stock!

I bought Euros there at the weekend too. Over 1.44/£.
It beat the Post Office by 0.03/£ and was even better than Travelex!

Cash Converters is a Franchise and a modern day pawn shop. They have some good gear in their shops and also have a website www.cashconverters.co.uk We were passing the shop and currency exchanges were advertised in their window at Euros1.45 to the £ no commission/no handling charges
