Playstation plus - Can't redeem code

I bought my husband a playstation plus 365 day subscription today from Argos (had some vouchers to use up).

He has tried to enter the code but is keeps saying something like error detected, he def entered the code correctly.

I have just seen that Sony are having probs due to the sale of the PS4, lots of people trying to redeem codes.

Is anyone else having or had the same problem in the last couple of days?

My partner has had the same problem but with PSN credit
It keeps coming up with "An error has occurred" when he puts in the codes, he's tried them every way possible but still no luck.

He bought his credits at a GAME store over a week ago, going to have to ask for a refund if he can't get them to work.
Not sure how long the 'returns' policy will allow, but then again, if it's 'defective' at the point of sale it should be ok.

Wonder how many people are having these kinds of problems :think:

There is an issue at the moment with all the codes not being redeemed online and Sony are working on a fix apparently.

I purchased a code from Game too as a gift and the recipient has had the same issues.

Thanks everyone, that has confirmed what I have just read on a couple of gaming forums.

Oh well, will have to sit and wait for a few days, he will have to play on the xbox instead.

Ok folks, if you can't get your code to work, go through Account Management, it will accept the code that way.

My husband just tried it and it worked.
